Dan, our founder, has spent years chasing competition-winning carp across the globe. But here's the thing, he wasn't just fishing, he was constantly experimenting with different ingredients. Testing bait combinations, tweaking recipes, obsessing over what makes carp tick.

That obsession paid off. Big time.

After countless sessions and even more sleepless nights perfecting formulas, Dan and his wife (Zoe) realised they had something special. Something that could change the game for every carp angler out there.

So they did what any fishing-mad couple would do, they turned their kitchen into a bait laboratory.

Now, from our base in Tewkesbury, England, we handcraft every batch using only the finest local ingredients. Just pure, fish-catching excellence that's been tested in the toughest waters around the world.

Because when you've found the perfect bait, why would you need anything else?

Five years of dedicated specimen hunting has honed Sean's skills across the UK's most challenging waters, plus he makes annual trips to France's legendary venues.

His ability to consistently target and land big carp caught Dan and Zoe's attention and when they asked him to join The One Bait team, he jumped at the chance.
